    1. Thanks, Jaeckel! I dont have much in terms of historical reference. I do own Embletons books on 15th century costume and some other works, mostly Osprey titles. As far as I know most padded jacks were simply made of layers of unbleached/uncoloured linen, that would have looked kind of beige probably, getting darker the more it became used. Some examples worn by wealthier people may have well been coloured.

    3. :-) Ok, there you go: Base is a mix of Vallejo German Camo Beige and Andrea Confederate Grey, highlight is Confederate Grey gradually mixed with GW Pallid Wych Flesh, final highlight is pure Pallid Wych Flesh.
